This year August happens to be one of those months that has 5 Tuesdays and no that does not
mean it is extra lucky or that you will win at Bingo, those are other this that happen when the full moon
appears twice in 28 days and is followed by a cloudy Thursday. You probably guessed I am not much of
horoscope guy but this does give me an extra blog and the 5th one of the month has been designated a free for all.
I feel incredibly fortunate because it give me a chance to share some of my photos and a bit of
dialogue about a tour of 6 Gates Art Gallery. The open house was just over a week ago and the amazing
part is that it was walking distance from our house.
Sue and Gord put on a great show featuring some of each of their art in an outdoor setting, and
their yard is the perfect place for it it. That is very appropriate since Gord designed the yard in a way to
feature not only the vegetables and boulders but so many other things that we would walk by and not give
a second glance.
I for one hope it becomes an annual event and in upcoming years perhaps the Covid rules can be
relaxed but that was not an issue. It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon and a great time to meander
through some one else yard that looks like a park.
I could go on and use this space for word’s of praise for the two artists that share their lives and
brushes but I am going to use this space to highlight a few pictures of what was a really nice afternoon.
Thanks Sue and Gord.
